Summer invites you to move differently. This is the ideal time to break out of your routine, explore new disciplines and build a freer practice, without losing sight of listening to the body.
Choose the right time
Favor the coolest hours of the day, early morning or late afternoon. A shorter, regular session will often be more beneficial than intense effort in high heat. Prepare your hydration before you even start and adapt your pace from the first minutes.
Hydrate yourself
Drink regularly, before, during and after exercise, without waiting for the feeling of thirst.
Vary
Alternate tennis, aqua, fitness and mobility to challenge the body in a balanced way.
Slow down
Adapt the intensity to the temperature and allow yourself real recovery phases.
Make variety your best ally
Changing activities maintains motivation and limits repetitive strain. A racquet sports session can be followed the next day by gentler aquatic work. A strength session benefits from being completed with stretching or yoga. This variety develops more complete physical fitness.
The best summer program is the one you'll want to do week after week.
The Mouratoglou coaching teamKeep the goal simple
Rather than aiming for a spectacular transformation, choose a concrete benchmark: three sessions per week, a new activity tested or ten minutes of mobility every day. Progression comes from continuity. Note your feelings and adjust your program according to your energy.
